Abstract

En un sistema de radiotelecomunicaciones celulares basado en acceso multiple por division de tiempo (TDMA), el rendimiento del sistema se mejora ajustandola potencia de transmision vinculada con ciertas senales de enlace descendente durante un intervalo de tiempo correspondiente, y de modo que el ajuste depotencia sea similar al de un evento típico de desvanecimiento, tanto en cuanto al momento de verificacion como en cuanto al ritmo de verificacion (por ejemplodB por ms). Durante el mismo intervalo de tiempo, la potencia de transmision vinculada con otras senales de enlace descendente se mantiene a un nivelsustancialmente constante. Más específicamente, la potencia de transmision vinculada con una senal de enlace descendente se mantiene aun nivel sustancialmenteconstante si el nivel de potencia no proporciona suficientemente una calidad de senal adecuada para la estacion movil correspondiente en presencia dedesvanecimiento. En cambio, la potencia de transmision vinculada con una senal de enlace descendente se puede ajustar (es decir, atenuar) de modo que seasimilar a la de un evento típico de desvanecimiento si la potencia de transmision vinculada con la senal de enlace descendente proporciona una calidad de senalmás que adecuada para la estacion movil correspondiente, a pesar del ajuste del nivel de potencia y de la presencia de desvanecimiento.
