Abstract

Dicha barra metálica posee un orificio axial que comunica en su parte inferior con el orificio del cuerpo dematerial refractario y dicho cuerpo de material refractario dispone, en su extremo inferior, de un medio para introducir gas en el bano de metal fundido. Elmaterial relativamente impermeable a los gases se elige entre los materiales refractarios que incorporan aditivos capaces de reducir el diámetro medio de losporos, como agentes fundentes y/o elementos metálicos que forman carburos cuando llegan a una temperatura elevada, o bien entre materiales que incorporanagentes fundentes elegidos entre oxidos alcalinos o sílices.
