Abstract

Dicho tapon decolada comprende: (a)un cuerpo alargado de material refractario que comprende (i)un orificio situado coaxialmente con respecto al cuerpo del tapon de yadaptado para recibir de forma fija una barra metálica para su fijacion a un mecanismo de elevacion, disponiendo el orificio axial del cuerpo del materialrefractario de una porcion alargada que presenta una superficie de cierre anular separada del extremo superior del cuerpo de material refractario (ii)un mediopara la fijacion de dicha barra metálica; y (b)una barra metálica alargadafijada al cuerpo de material refractario adaptada en su extremo superior para sufijacion a un mecanismo de elevacion para desplazar verticalmente el tapon; en donde dicho cuerpo de material refractario comprende al menos en parte materialrefractariorelativamente impermeable a los gases. Dicha barra metálica posee un orificio axial que comunica en su parte inferior con el orificio del cuerpo dematerial refractario y dicho cuerpo de material refractario dispone, en su extremo inferior, de un medio para introducir gas en el bano de metal fundido. Elmaterial relativamente impermeable a los gases se elige entre los materiales refractarios que incorporan aditivos capaces de reducir el diámetro medio de losporos, como agentes fundentes y/o elementos metálicos que forman carburos cuando llegan a una temperatura elevada, o bien entre materiales que incorporanagentes fundentes elegidos entre oxidos alcalinos o sílices. Said metal bar has an axial hole that communicates in its lower part with the hole of the refractory material body and said body of refractory material has, at its lower end, a means for introducing gas into the molten metal bath. The relatively gas-impermeable material is chosen from refractory materials that incorporate additives capable of reducing the average diameter of the pores, such as melting agents and / or metal elements that form carbides when they reach a high temperature, or between materials that incorporate melting agents chosen between alkali oxides or silicas. Said material relatively impermeable to gases has a specific permeability of less than 5 x 10-17m2.
