Abstract
Se da a conocer un método para manejar transferencias oscilantes de estaciones moviles entre celdas en una red de telecomunicaciones celulares. El métodocomprende los pasos de detectar si una estacion movil (MS) está exhibiendo un patron de transferencia oscilante, determinar si la potencia de la senal de laestacion movil con la celda servidora de la estacion movil está por encima de un umbral seguro de potencia de senal e inhibir las transferencias de la estacionmovil al determinar que la potencia de la senal está por encima del umbral seguro de potencia de senal. El patron de transferencia oscilante se detecta enprimer lugar, detectando una secuencia de transferencias de la estacion movil, en la que el numero de transferencias es dos veces el numero de celdas queparticipan en las transferencias, midiendo un período de tiempo entre transferencias entre cada una de las transferencias en la secuencia, y determinando sicada período de tiempo entre transferencias es inferior al valor delprimer umbral. Luego sigue determinar una transferencia anterior y una ultimatransferencia en la secuencia, medir un período de tiempo de oscilacion total entre la transferencia anterior y la ultima transferencia en la secuencia,determinar si el período de tiempo de oscilacion total es inferior al valor del segundo umbral y clasificar a la estacion movil como oscilante al determinarque el período de tiempo de oscilacion total es inferior al valor del segundo umbral.
