Abstract

Un método de comunicaciones para y entre una estacion base radiotelefonica celular y, al menos un radio intercambiador celular que comprende los pasos detransmitir hacia atrás (downlink) voz codificada en digital desde un radio intercambiador celularhacia una estacion base radiotelefonica y transmitir haciadelante (uplink) senales radiotelefonicas submuestreadas (es decir, submuestreadas en relacion con la frecuencia de Nyquist de dos muestras por símbolo) desdela estacion base radiotelefonicacelular hacia el radio intercambiador celular. Las senales radiotelefonicas submuestreadas son demoduladas en el radiointercambiador celular y la voz codificada en digital es modulada en la estacion base radiotelefonica celular. La demodulacion en diversidad puede ser usada enel radio intercambiador celular, para demodular en diversidad las senales radiotelefonicas submuestreadas en el radio intercambiador celular. Por medio de latransmision hacia atrás (downlink) de la voz codificada en digitaldesde el radio intercambiador celular hacia la estacion base radiotelefonica celular, y pormedio de la transmision hacia delante (uplink) de las senales radiotelefonicas submuestreadas desde la estacion base radiotelefonica celular hacia el radiointercambiador celular, pueden ser provistos enlaces de subida y enlaces de bajada de banda angosta entre las estaciones base y el radio intercambiadorcelular, para de este modo reducir el costo. También se propone una disposicion de comunicacion radiotelefonica celular para llevar a la práctica dicho método,una estacion base para dicha disposicion y un radio intercambiador para ser utilizado por dicha disposicion.
