Abstract
Se refiere a un acero inoxidable ferrítico el cual presenta buena resistencia a corrosion y oxidacion a altas temperaturas, con un buen desempeno cuando seusa para producir tubos mediante un proceso de soldadura llamado ERW -Soldadura de resistenciaeléctrica (soldadura por resistencia a alta frecuencia). Talestubos se emplean comunmente en disposiciones de escape de automoviles y deben presentar buena capacidad de expansion y curvado de modo que puedan sercorrectamente usados para ese objetivoespecífico y presentan la siguiente composicion química: C entre 0 y 0,014; Mn entre 0 y 1,00; Si entre 0 y 1,00; Pentre 0 y 0,045; S entre 0 y 0,045; Cr entre 10,50 y 11,75; Ni entre 0 y 0,50; Ti entre 0,09 y 0,20; N entre 0 y 0,013; Nb entre 0,05 y0,10; Fe= resto,excepto impurezas incidentales, con la provision de que el contenido de (C + N) está limitado a un máximo de 220 ppm.
