Derivados de ciclopenteno, que comprenden un compuesto de la formula (I) en donde: R1 es seleccionado entre hidrogeno, alquilo C1-5, alquilo C1-5sustituido (donde los sustituyentes de alquilo son uno o más halogenos), aminoalquilo C1-5, alquilaminoC 1-5 alquilo C1-5, dialquil C1-5 aminoalquilo C1-5,RaRbN-alquilo C1-5 (donde el Ra y Rb son independientemente seleccionados entre hidrogeno y alquilo C1-5, o se toman juntos para formar una morfolina,piperazina, piperidina, o piperidina N-sustituida, donde el sustituyente N es alquilo C1-5 o fenilalquilo C1-5), alquil C1-5 carbonilo, alcoxi C1-5 carbonilo,aminocarbonilo, alquil C1-9 aminocarbonilo, cicloalquil C3-9 aminocarbonilo, piridinilcarbonilo, piridinilcarbonilo sustituido(donde los sust ituyentes depiridinilo se seleccionan entre el grupo que consiste de uno o más halogenos y alquilo C1-5), tiofenocarbonilo, tiofenocarbonilo sustituido (donde lossustituyentes de tiofeno se seleccionan entre el grupo que consiste deuno o más halogen os y alquilo C1-5), fenilo, fenilalquilo C1-5, fenoxicarbonilo,fenilcarbonilo,, difenilmetilcarbonilo, fenilaminocarbonilo, feniltiocarbonilo, fenilaminotiocarbonilo, fenilo sustituido, fenilalquilo C1-5 sustituido,fenoxicarbonilosustituido, fenilca rbonilo sustituido, fenilaminocarbonilo sustituido, difenilmetilcarbonilo sustituido, feniltiocarbonilo sustituido yfenilaminotiocarbonilo sustituido (donde los sustituyentes de fenilo se seleccionan entre el grupo que consistede uno o más de haloge no, alquilo C1-5, trihalometilo, alcoxi C1-5, amino, nitrilo, nitro, alquil C1-5 amino, dialquilC1-5amino,si hay más de un sustituyente, pueden tomarse junto con el anillo fenilo paraformar un anillo heterocíclico de 7-10miembros bicíclico fusionado que tiene 1 a 2 heteroátomos seleccionados entre oxígeno, azufre o nitrogeno, o lossustituyentes pueden tomarse juntos para formar un anillo aromático de 7-10 miembros bicíclico fusionado); R2 es seleccionado entre H,alquilo C1-5, alccoxiC1-5, feni lo, fenilo sustituido (donde los sustituyentes de fenilo se seleccionan entre uno o más del grupo que consiste de halogeno y alquilo C1-5),
