Una composicion lubricante que comprende un aceite base de orígen mineral y/o sintético y una combinacion de disulfuro de molibdeno, uno o másditiocarbamatos de zinc y uno o más ditiofosfatos metálicos, no conteniendo dicha composicion una cantidad substancial de naftenato de zinc. La invencioncomprende también un método para lubricar una junta de velocidad constante que comprende empaquetar dicha junta con una grasa lubricante que comprende dichacomposicion lubricante y un espesante; y una junta de velocidad constante empaquetada con dicha grasa lubricante y un espesante; y una junta de velocidadconstante empaquetada con dicha grasa lubricante.
