Abstract

Composicion anticongelante basada en ácido monocarboxílico para uso en el sistema de enfriamiento de agua en un motor de combustion interna que comprendeuna combinacion inhibidora que contiene en su mayor parte un depresor del punto de congelacionde un alcohol líquido soluble en agua tal como etilen o propilenglicol; de aproximadamente 0,1 a aproximadamente 10,0 % en peso, de un compuesto ácido carboxílico monobásico alifático lineal o una sal de metal alcalino delmismo; de aproximadamente0,01 a aproximadamente 5,0 % en peso, de un compuesto azol, preferiblemente un hidrocarbil triazol; y bajos niveles deaproximadamente 0,001 a aproximadamente 5,0 % en peso, de compuesto molibdato.
