Abstract
Un conversor de la longitud de onda optica que permite el rápido y efectivo desplazamiento de informacion modulada sobre una senal de luz de unalongitud de onda a una senal de luz de una segunda longitud de onda sin los efectos negativos de ruidos yotras perturbaciones que han demostrado serproblemáticas en el arte previo. El dispositivo divide una senal de sondeo CW de una primera longitud de onda en dos componentes que se propagan enorientaciones opuestas a través de una extremidad Kerr. También se propaga en la extremidad Kerr una senal de accionamiento modulada, a una segundalongitud de onda. Estas senales interactuan en la extremidad Kerr y son recombinadas en un acoplador de salida a fin de crear interferencia entre los doscomponentes de sondeo. Se da salida a una senal de sondeo modulada en la intensidad.
