Abstract

Un procesador de senal de banda de audio para telefonía digital. Dicho procesador de senal de banda de audio comprende un primer amplificador de gananciavariable (202) para recibir una senal de audio análoga; un convertidor análogo a digital (204)pa ra convertir dicha senal de audio análoga a una senal de audiodigital;y un circuito de interconexion (206) para controlar la ganancia de dicho procesador, de igual modo ordena dicha senal de audio digital en una secuenciade tramas de transmisioncodi ficadas, y recibe una secuencia de tramas de recepcion codificadas, cada trama de recepcion comprende una cantidad predeterminadade bits de datos de senal de audio digitales codificados, y una cantidad predeterminada de bits de control deganancia di gital. El circuito de interconexion,(206), de igual modo, ajusta el nivel de ganancia de dicho primer amplificador de ganancia variable, en respuesta a dichos bits de control de gananciadigitales. En otra implementacion, el procesador debanda de aud io además, comprende un segundo amplificador de ganancia variable (202), y el circuito deinterconexion ajusta el nivel de ganancia de dicho segundo amplificador de ganancia variable en respuesta a dichos bits de control de gananciadigital.
