Abstract

Se describen procesos para separar ácidos de otros compuestos en solucion utilizando polímeros de base anfolíticos en separaciones del tipocromatográfico. Los procesos preferidos se realizan en aparatos de contacto continuos e implican el establecimiento de zonas de separacion y elusion paraproporcionar corrientes de producto ácido de alta pureza y concentracion. Los procesos preferidos logran la purificacion del ácido cítrico de su mezcla conuno o más azucares tales como glucosa en condiciones sustancialmente isotérmicas.
