Abstract

The use of the strip of adhesive along the adjacent edges of the first sheet in the card holder facilitates the creation of a correctly formed pocket to hold and protect the card. Preferred adhesives for the strip include polyvinyl ethylene latex, polyvinyl acetate, other acrylics and their copolymers. The preferred adhesive is a latex of a polyvinyl acetate copolymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) near or below ambient temperature approximately.
