Abstract
Un transductor piezoeléctrico excitado digitalmente utiliza un elemento piezoeléctrico plano que cuenta con una multiplicidad de secciones conductivasaisladas eléctricamente acopladas a un lado de dicho elemento piezoeléctrico y una placa de tierra conductiva acoplada al otro lado de dicho elementopiezoeléctrico. Además, se acopla una cavidad resonante a dicho elemento piezoeléctrico e intensifica la energía acustica o sonora producida por dichotransductor piezoeléctrico. Este transductor piezoeléctrico excitado digitalmente evita los problemas vinculados con la interferenciaelectromagnética al evitar circuitos analogicos adicionales que previamente eran necesarios para crear sonidos audibles al oído humano.
