Abstract
Un separador para baterías electroquímicas (10) que posee un eje largo y al menos un eje corto perpendicular al primero que comprende un ánodo (14),un cátodo (12) y un separador (16) entre cátodo y ánodo que comprende una capa de materialtipo membrana. El separador (16) está integrado por dosláminas (16a, 16b) de materiales adyacentes entre sí. Las láminas pueden estar hechas o no del mismo material. Los materiales pueden ser tejidos o no-tejidos. En ciertas realizaciones,las capas están hechas del mismo material no tejido, no-membrana, compuesto por una matriz de fibras de alcoholpolivinílico, fibras de celulosa, y un aglomerante de alcohol polivinílico.
