Abstract
Un método para controlar la separacion de un componente en crudo de petroleo, por ejemplo aguas abajo de la cabeza de un pozo, en donde elpetroleo es analizado, por ejemplo, mediante espectroscopía de infrarrojo proximo (NIR), en oante s de un oleoducto entre el analizador y un separador,especialmente una línea de por lo menos 10 km. de longitud, y los resultados son usados para optimizar la separacion. La espectroscopía NIR se empleatambién para determinar una propiedadpor eje mplo, la composicion de un crudo de petroleo, en particular, su contenido en nafta, gasoil y/o fueloil.
