Abstract

Una disposicion y método en una red de radiotelecomunicaciones que tiene un registro de localizacion de origen (HRL) y un centro de conmutacion movil(MSC) servidor para impedir llamadas fraudulentas de larga distancia de la estacion movil deun abonado obstaculizando selectivamente el acceso de laestacion movil a la red cuando existe una indicacion de fraude. El sistema envía del MSC servidor al HRL, una indicacion de un origen de llamda de largadistancia excede de la estacionmovil del abonado, pone en marcha un temporizador, aumenta un contador que cuenta los orígenes de llamadas de largadistancia, y determina si la cantidad de orígenes de llamadas de larga distancia excede un umbral predeterminado.El sis tema permite la llamada delarga distancia al determinar que la cantidad de orígenes de llamadas de larga distancia no excede el umbral predeterminado. La disposicion ademásdetrmina si se ha excedido un umbral de período de tiempo, aldetermina r que la cantidad de orígenes de llamadas de larga distancia excede el umbralpredeterminado. La llamada de larga distancia se permite al determinar que se ha excedido el umbral de período de tiempo. La llamada se desconecta yseobstaculiza el acceso de la estacion movil a la red al determinar que no se ha excedido el umbral de período de tiempo.
