Abstract
En un codificador CELP se ha hecho una comparación entre una senal de objetivo y una pluralidad de senal de síntesis. La senal de síntesis esderivada filtrando una pluralidad de secuencias de excitación por un filtro de síntesis teniendoparám etros derivados de la senal de objetivo. Se seleccionala senal de excitación que resulta en un error mínimo entre la senal de objetivo y la senal de síntesis. La búsqueda de la mejor senal de excitaciónrequiere una complejidad decomputadora considerable. Para reducir la complejidad se hace una preselección de un número pequeno de secuencias deexcitación seleccionando un pequeno número de secuencias de excitación igualando la senal de objetivo filtrada másen reverso. Debido al númeroreducido de secuencias de excitación involucradas en la selección final la complejidad de computadora requerida es reducida.
