Abstract

Un procedimiento para la elaboración de un revestimiento multicapa sobre una superficie de sustrato, así como el sustrato mismo, en donde: (A) seaplica, sobre una superficie de sustrato revestida con un revestimiento de base acuoso (i), unaf ormulación de revestimiento de base acuosa (ii) quecontiene, como formador de película, una dispersión acuosa de polímero; (B) se seca la formulación aplicada en el paso (A); (C) se aplica una formulación derevestimiento cubriente transparenteadecu ada sobre la capa de base (II) así obtenida; y (D) se hornean, en conjunto, las capas de base (I) y (II) y laformulación de revestimiento cubriente; donde la formulación de revestimiento de base (ii) contiene una dispersión acuosa depolímero, q ue comprende: (x) unpolímero de acrilato basado en 30% a 60% en peso de monómeros de alquil(metil) acrilato C1-C8, 30% a 60% en peso de monómeros vinilaromáticos y 0,5% a 10% enpeso de ácido metacrílico; y (y) un espesante, con efectono asociativo, que contiene un copolímero de acrilato basado en alquil(metil)acrilato C1-C8 y enácido(met)acrílico.
