A method and device for combined dosing of at least two different types of viscous food products in packaging containers, wherein identical or different composite products are dosed simultaneously or sequentially in cells. Said composite products comprise determined quantities of at least two viscous products co-dosed separately in the cells either in simultaneous or sequential mode, notably coaxial, collateral or layered, from one single supply of each viscous product. The method and device allow flexible dosing of composite viscous products in pots containing, if necessary, fragments.

Description

The invention relates to a method and a device for dosing viscous composite food products in containers.
The invention relates more particularly to the combined dosage of at least two food products of different nature in packaging containers. These products are intended in particular to be stored and distributed in a refrigerated circuit. In this field, it is particularly advantageous to manufacture composite products packaged in groups in multiple cells or "multipacks" at high speed. It would be desirable to be able to dose composite products which are different from one another in multipacks, for example in a superimposed, co-axial and co-lateral manner from the same dosing head which is both compact and versatile. It would also be desirable if the dosed products could contain lumps.
There is known from FR-A-2 708 563 a device and a method for filling pots with liquid and / or pasty products co-extruded coaxially, one of the products constituting a center of cylindrical shape and the other a cylindrical sleeve surrounding said center. The products are metered under pressure from flexible supply channels via diaphragm valves to a mobile dosing device with up and down movement.
In its most compact embodiment, represented in FIG. 6, this device comprises a product distribution plate, supplied with the first product, the central product, by an angled side channel and with the second product, the peripheral product, by a vertical central channel.
Le dispositif connu présente certains inconvénients:A multiple nozzle is housed in the distribution plate, said nozzle comprising an annular recess connected by radial channels of smaller section to a central blind ejection channel for the central product, and longitudinal ejection channels of section smaller arranged around the central ejection channel and passing through the body of the nozzle right through. The supply of second product from the central supply channel to the peripheral longitudinal ejection channels is controlled by an annular-shaped membrane in direct contact with the upper face of the nozzle. The known device has certain drawbacks:
- les poids dosés sont irréguliers, sans doute du fait de la membrane annulaire,- the weights dosed are irregular, probably due to the annular membrane,
- la configuration annulaire de la membrane ne permet que l'utilisation du seul format co-axial de buse,- the annular configuration of the membrane only allows the use of the only co-axial nozzle format,
The method and the device according to the invention propose to eliminate the drawbacks of the previous known device.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that identical or different composite products are dosed simultaneously or sequentially, said composite products comprising determined quantities of at least two viscous products co-dosed separately in the alveoli in a concomitant or sequential mode, from the same supply of each of said viscous products.
Le dispositif selon l'invention est caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend:The device according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises:
- une plaque de distribution des produits, alimentée en premier produit, par un canal latéral et en deuxième produit, par un canal central vertical,- a product distribution plate, supplied with the first product by a lateral channel and the second product by a vertical central channel,
- des moyens d'ouverture et de fermeture séparées de l'alimentation en premier et en deuxième produit, constitués par des soupapes à membranes actionnées pneumatiquement etmeans for opening and closing the supply of the first and second product separately, constituted by pneumatically actuated diaphragm valves, and
In the context of the invention, the dosing of the products can be carried out in different ways depending on the configuration of the nozzles and the nozzles. Thus, the nozzles and nozzles can delimit when the dosing is simultaneous the flows of co-axial, co-lateral products, or defining zones representing more complex figures. In the case of sequential dosing, the products may have layers or overlapping zones. The metered products can be food products such as desserts, creams, culinary or sweet foams, fermented dairy products, in particular the kind of yoghurts and fresh cheeses. One of the products may for example be a fresh cheese and the other a mousse or a preparation based on fruits, vegetables or meats. The two products can be, for example, fresh cheeses with different flavors and different colors from one another.
Such products may for example be of the type, but not exclusively, of those described in patent EP-B-0 358 983 or in patent application PCT / EP00 / 07121 filed on 24.07.2000. Preferably, the products have a contrasting scent and color and a similar texture.
Qu'il s'agisse de gel, de caillé, d'émulsion ou de dispersion, un point commun à tous les produits dosables par le procédé et le dispositif de l'invention est leur viscosité comprise entre 5000 to 15000 mPa.s mesurée avec un viscosimètreWhether gel, curd, emulsion or dispersion, a point common to all the products which can be measured by the process and device of the invention is their viscosity between 5000 to 15000 mPa.s measured with a viscometer
Brookfield à 10° C, 50 t/min/disque 5.Brookfield at 10 ° C, 50 rpm / disc 5.
Either or both of the products may contain pieces, for example of vegetables, spices in a culinary version or, in a sweet version, fresh, dried, candied or mashed fruit, mass confectionery such as chocolate.
The invention will be better understood using the description below, made with reference to the accompanying drawings showing embodiments of the device given by way of example.
In these drawings, FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a dosing and distribution unit for two viscous products with a removable ejection nozzle of a first type for coaxial dosing, FIG. 2 is a detailed sectional view axial view of a multiple dosing head with nozzles placed side by side for coaxial dosing, FIG. 3 is a detail view in elevation of a multiple distribution plate with coaxial dosing nozzles, FIG. 4 is a detail view in axial section of a multiple dosing head with a second configuration of the removable ejection nozzles attached for side dosing, FIG. 5 is an elevation view of a multiple distribution plate with nozzles and 6 is a schematic view of two nozzles of different configuration on the same dosing head with a removable fixing means.
In a preferred embodiment of the process according to the invention shown in FIG. 1, two masses of fermented milk products of the genus of the petit-suisse or a petit-suisse and a fruit compote of plastic consistency A and B are brought, by example by single or double Archimedes screw or by positive pumps to hoppers, which can be pressurized, not shown.
The dosing head 3 comprises a vertical nozzle 4 through which masses A and B are dosed in pots 5 carried by an endless conveyor 6 traveling step by step under the nozzles 4.
In the case of FIG. 1, the filling of a pot is concentric and consists of a central portion of mass of type A surrounded by an annular portion B dosed by a volume control mechanism. This mechanism preferably comprises a conduit 1 upstream of the nozzle through which the mass B is brought to the nozzle and the conduit 1 can be closed and opened by means of the elastic membrane 7 pneumatically controlled by the air coming from the channel 8. Similarly, the conduit 2 upstream of the nozzle serves to bring the mass A and the conduit 2 can be closed or opened by means of the elastic membrane 10 pneumatically controlled by the air coming from the channel 11. The chambers volumetric metering devices, not shown, consist of metering pistons and the portions of conduits 1 and 2 located upstream of the membranes. The passages comprising the portions of conduits 1 and 2 downstream of the membranes and the passages 12 and 13 are preferably optimized so as to provide symmetrical flows for the masses A and B to improve the accuracy of the metering, and they are designed to occupy the minimum possible space and ensure a compact configuration of the dosing head. Preferably, the metering pistons are actuated individually so as to allow an adjustment of the metering speed, for example by means of a motor speed variator controlling the stroke of the pistons. This can allow a slightly offset dosage of one of the masses with respect to the other when their respective viscosities are not exactly the same.
The pots are located under the dosing head. For correct filling, without the formation of air pockets, the dosing head is preferably mounted on a raising and lowering device shown by the double arrow 14, by means of which the nozzles descend into the pots when they come under the dosing machine, up to a level close to their bottom and fill them while going up. Thus, the connecting tubes between the metering cylinders and the nozzles are flexible. The pots are stationary during filling. They advance one step once they are filled.
As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the coaxial dosing can be achieved by means of a distribution plate for filling 12 pots with a configuration of the nozzles placed side by side in opposition. In this case, the conveyor advances two steps for each dosage of twice 6 pots.
As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the side dosing can be achieved by means of a distribution plate for filling 12 jars with a configuration of the nozzles placed side by side in opposition. In this case, the conveyor advances two steps for each dosage of twice 6 pots.
A considerable advantage of the filling device of the invention is the fact that the nozzles are not in direct contact with the membranes, which allows their removable and their interchangeability. Another advantage is that the configuration of the metering plates makes it easy to insert, for example in the same metering head, nozzles of one type, for example for coaxial metering with nozzles of another type, for example for the side dosage, which ensures a dosage of products of varied configuration in multipacks.
As it is apparent in figure 6, the nozzles for coaxial dosing and those for side dosing are easily inserted from bottom to top in the housings 15 of the distribution plates and they can be held in place by the keys 16 in the shape of a U coming to be inserted laterally in the grooves 17. Preferably, the keys are made of a material having undergone a surface hardening treatment, by example of "kolsterising" (Hardiff process) which allows them to slide in the grooves 17 made in the metal of the nozzle holder distribution plate without undergoing oxidation while ensuring sealing. Of course, any equivalent removable mechanical fixing system could be used, for example a latching means.
