To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, CHARLES H. BEELER, J r., a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a Design for a Font of Type, of which the following is a specification.

My design for a font of type is clearly illustrated in the accompanying typographical impression, which illustrates the upper-case type and numerals.

The special features of this design are the light vertical line of each letterancl numeral with the heavy lines at the top and bottom and in some instances at the center. Both the cross-lines of the letter A are heavy. The top and bottom lines of the letters B, O, S, and numerals 3, 5, 6, 8, and 9 are heavy, but the center line is light. The top and bottom lines of the letters 0, D, G, O, Q, and Z and the numerals 2 and 0 are heavy, While the upper cross-1ine of the letter F is heavy and its center line light.
