Abstract

본 발명은 방전램프 및 그 제조방법을 개시한다.
본 발명은 내부에 시동가스가 충진된 밀폐용기와, 이 밀폐용기 내에 상호 소정간격 이격된 적어도 한쌍의 전극을 구비하여 된 방전램프 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 상기 전극의 표면에 그 단부가 첨예한 요철을 스파터링법으로 형성하여 된 것에 특징이 있으며, 이는 정격 전압에서 방전개시전압을 낮출수 있는 이점을 가진다.

Claims (3)

  1. 내부에 시동가스가 충진된 밀폐용기와, 이 밀폐용기 내에 상호 소정간격 이격된 적어도 한쌍의 전극을 구비하여 된 방전램프에 있어서, 상기 전극의 표면에 그 단부가 첨예한 요철부를 형성하여 된 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프.
  2. 그 내부에 한쌍의 전극이 소정의 간격으로 몰입 고정된 기밀용기를 제조하는 용기 제조공정과, 상기 용기 내부를 진공으로 형성하기 위한 배기공정과, 그 내부가 진공으로 유진된 기밀용기 내에 시동가스를 주입하는 가스주입공정을 포함하여 된 방전램프 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 배기공정후 기밀용기 내에 미량의 시공가스를 주입하고 상기 전극의 표면에 스파터링에 의해 요철을 형성하는 전극표면처리공정을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프의 제조방법.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 스파터링시 전극에 인가되는 고전압과 주파수가 각각 10 내지 50kv, 1 내지 10MHz인 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프.
