Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the useless power consumption and emission of electromagnetic waves, by detecting the presence and absence of a modulation signal and connecting/disconnecting a power supply to a transmission section. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a microphone 1 is inputted to a transmission section 2. The transmission section 2 is operated with a powr supplied from a power supply 5 connected via a switch 4. A part of a signal from the microphone 1 is inputted to a modulation signal detecting circuit 3. When the signal from the microphone 1 is present, the circuit 3 connects the switch 4 and interrupts it when the signal is absent.
