Abstract
PURPOSE:To transmit bursts in synchronizing with the switching sequence of a satellite, by mounting a reference burst generating circuit on a satellite. CONSTITUTION:An output of receivers 9-12 is inputted to a switch matrix 17 and connected to teansmitters 13-16 in time division with the memory data of a connection control section 18. On the other hand, a reference burst generating circuit 21 inputs a timing signal 31 and a superframe signal 32 corresponding to the head of synchronizing window from the section 18 to form the reference burst. This reference burst gives a suitable modulation to the unique word with the superframe signal 32. Further, the produced reference burst 33 is inputted to a switch matrix 17. The section 18 controls the switch matrix 17 so that the reception signal from a spot beam antenna is all detached from the transmission system, while the reference burst is inputted to the transmitters 13-16.
