PURPOSE:To permit sorting without disregarding original data by grouping plural data and rearranging the data of each group according to prescribed standards. CONSTITUTION:The measured data from a data input part 1 are set successively into a measured value input register 2. A reference error value setting part 3 forms the absolute value for permissible errors. This absolute value is set in an error memory register 4. The absolute values of the measured data and the absolute value of permissible errors are inputted to an operator 5. The operation for grouping is accomplished by this operator 5. The results thereof are inputted to a grouping function part 6, and the measured data are stacked in buffers 7-1, 7-2. The measured data of the buffers 7-1, 7-2 are sorted in descending order based on a variable Y by sorting function parts 8-1, 8-2. The results of sorting are outputted by an output device 11.
