Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the processing rate of a data transmission system by selecting the best transfer control part according to data to be transferred, by building plural transfer control parts in a data transfer processor. CONSTITUTION:To host data processor CPU1, data transfer processor 5 is connected and to this processor 5, one or more of terminal equipment 2-0 are connected via circuits. In this processor 5, transfer control parts 6A-6N are built in to perform message transfer and file transfer. Between CPU1 and respective transfer control parts 6A-6N, the 1st data transfer control switching part 7 is provided and between transfer control parts 6A-6N, and terminal equipment 2-1, the 2nd data transfer control switching part 8 is further provided. According to the indication of switching indication device 11 receiving indications from processor 5 or control parts 6A-6N, switching parts 7 and 8 are switched respectively to select the best one of control parts 6A-6N which corresponds to data to be transferred, thereby increasing the processing speed of the data transfer system.
