Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of the secondary signal to be given to the main signal as well as facilitate an formation of the integrated circuit by transmitting the coded secondary signal with amplitude piling only to the mark side of the main signal, thus realizing a small structure of the device as a whole. CONSTITUTION:Both main signal (a) sent from input terminal 1 and coded 4 secondary signal (b) sent from input terminal 2 are applied to sum circuit 3. Then signal (b) receives the amplitude piling at the mark side of signal (a) and is then converted 5 into the photosignal to be transmitted via optical fiber 6. On the other hand, the received photosignal is converted 7 into the electric signal at the receiving side. And main signal identifying/reproducing circuit 8 performs the identification of main signal PM at identification level Lm, and signal PM is delivered to output terminal 9. At the same time, secondary signal identifying/reproducing circuit 10 gives the identification to secondary signal PS at identification level Ls, and signal PS is delivered to terminal 9 through decoder 11.
