Description
a) 上記バルーン内電極、対電極、上記バルーン内温度センサ及び高周波発生装置からなる第1のバルーン加熱回路
b) 上記先端部電極、上記対電極、上記先端部温度センサ及び上記高周波発生装置からなる先端加熱回路
b) 上記先端部電極、対電極、上記先端部温度センサ及び高周波発生装置からなる先端加熱回路
c) 上記バルーン内電極、上記バルーン内温度センサ及び上記高周波発生装置からなる第2のバルーン加熱回路
ペレセン(ダウ・ケミカル社製)を材料として、ブロー成型法により外径25mm、膜厚40μmのポリウレタン製のバルーン2を作製した。
実施例1と同様の方法で作製したバルーン2、外側カテーテルシャフト3、内側カテーテルシャフト4、バルーン内温度センサ11、先端部電極14及び先端部温度センサ15を用いて、下記の通りバルーン付きアブレーションカテーテル1Bを作製した。
先端部電極を、長さ5mmの円柱を加工及び切削して作製した以外、すなわち、内側カテーテルシャフト4の長手方向における先端側の端面から上記長手方向における先端部電極14の先端までの距離が3mmになるようにした以外は、実施例1と同様の方法でバルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステム(以下、比較例1カテーテルシステム)を完成した。
先端部電極を、長さ5mmの円柱を加工及び切削して作製した以外、すなわち、内側カテーテルシャフト4の長手方向における先端側の端面から上記長手方向における先端部電極14の先端までの距離が3mmになるようにした以外は、実施例2と同様の方法でバルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステム(以下、比較例2カテーテルシステム)を完成した。
造影剤(ヘキサブリックス(登録商標);ゲルベ・ジャパン社製)と、生理食塩水との、体積比1:1の混合溶液を加熱用液体としてシリンジ9から供給し、バルーン2の内部及びルーメンA5の空気抜き作業を行ってから、バルーン2を最大径が25mmになるように膨張させた。
図10に、作製した各バルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステムのスポットアブレーション及びバルーンアブレーション温度を測定するための実験系を示す。内壁に対電極28を貼り付けた水槽43に生理食塩水を35L入れて、37℃に保温した。
Claims (6)
- カテーテルシャフトと、前記カテーテルシャフトの長手方向における先端側に取り付けられたバルーンと、前記バルーンの長手方向における後端側の端面から前記バルーンに連通するルーメンと、前記バルーンの内部に配置されたバルーン内電極及びバルーン内温度センサと、前記長手方向における先端側の端面を含む先端領域に取り付けられた先端部電極及び先端部温度センサと、を有し、かつ、前記カテーテルシャフトの長手方向における先端側の端面から前記長手方向における前記先端部電極の先端までの距離が4〜10mmである、バルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルと、
下記a)の第1のバルーン加熱回路と下記b)の先端加熱回路とを切り換える回路切換スイッチと、
を備える、バルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステム。
a) 前記バルーン内電極、対電極、前記バルーン内温度センサ及び高周波発生装置からなる第1のバルーン加熱回路
b) 前記先端部電極、前記対電極、前記先端部温度センサ及び前記高周波発生装置からなる先端加熱回路 - 前記バルーン内電極は、2個配置されている、請求項1記載のバルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステム。
- 下記c)の第2のバルーン加熱回路を切り換える回路切換スイッチを備える、請求項2記載のバルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステム。
c) 前記バルーン内電極、前記バルーン内温度センサ及び前記高周波発生装置からなる第2のバルーン加熱回路 - 前記第1のバルーン加熱回路又は前記先端加熱回路のインピーダンスを測定するインピーダンス測定装置を備える、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項記載のバルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステム。
- 前記バルーン内電極と前記対電極との間、前記バルーン内電極間又は前記先端部電極と前記対電極との間で高周波を通電する前記高周波発生装置と、
前記ルーメンから加熱用液体の吸引と吐出を周期的に繰り返して前記加熱用液体に振動を付与する振動付与装置と、
を備える、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項記載のバルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステム。 - 前記振動付与装置は、ローラーポンプ、ダイヤフラムポンプ、ベローズポンプ、ベーンポンプ、遠心ポンプ及びピストンとシリンダを組み合わせたポンプからなる群から選択されるポンプを備える、請求項5記載のバルーン付きアブレーションカテーテルシステム。
