前記本体の少なくとも前記遠端部において前記第1ガイドワイヤルーメンと実質的に平行であって、前記本体の前記遠端部に配置された第2出口ポートを備える第2ガイドワイヤルーメンと、
を有する、血管内治療カテーテル。 - 前記撮像装置が超音波トランスジューサを有する、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記撮像装置が血管内超音波(IVUS)撮像装置を有する、請求項2に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記IVUS撮像装置が微細加工超音波トランスジューサを有する、請求項3に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記撮像装置が光干渉トモグラフィ(OCT)撮像装置を有する、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記本体の前記遠端部に配置された機能測定センサを更に有する、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記機能測定センサが、圧力センサ、速度センサ、ドプラ速度センサ及び光センサのうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項6に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記第1ガイドワイヤルーメンがオーバーザワイヤ・ガイドワイヤルーメンを有し、前記第2ガイドワイヤルーメンが迅速交換ガイドワイヤルーメンを有する、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記第1出口ポート及び前記第2出口ポートがオフセットされている、請求項8に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記第1及び第2出口ポートが、前記本体の前記遠端部において前記撮像装置から5cm以内に配置される、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記第1出口ポート及び前記第2出口ポートのうちの少なくとも一方が、前記長尺な本体の前記遠端部の接線に対して鈍角をなす、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記撮像装置が前記第1出口ポートの遠端側にある、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記本体の前記近端部に印加される軸トルクを前記本体の前記遠端部に伝達する、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 軸トルク伝達のためにシャフト、編み込み材料又はコイル巻き材料を更に有する、請求項13に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記撮像装置が前記第2ガイドワイヤルーメンの周囲に配置される、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 前記本体の前記遠端部にパターンを更に有し、該パターンがX線撮像の下で前記本体の前記遠端部の向きを示す、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 第3ルーメン及び該第3ルーメンを通して配置されたマイクロケーブルを更に有し、該マイクロケーブルは前記撮像装置から当該カテーテルの前記遠端部まで延在すると共に前記撮像装置と電気的に通じる、請求項1に記載の血管内治療カテーテル。
- 血管内治療を施す方法であって、
第1ガイドワイヤを実質的に血管の治療されるべき部分まで進めるステップと、
前記第1ガイドワイヤ上で血管内治療カテーテルを進めるステップであって、該カテーテルが、
遠端部及び近端部を備える長尺な本体と、
前記本体の前記遠端部に配置されて、血管構造内の箇所を撮像する撮像装置と、
前記本体の前記遠端部に配置された第1出口ポートを備える第1ガイドワイヤルーメンと、
前記本体の少なくとも前記遠端部において前記第1ガイドワイヤルーメンと実質的に平行であって、前記本体の前記遠端部に配置された第2出口ポートを備える第2ガイドワイヤルーメンと、
を有するステップと、
前記血管の治療されるべき部分を撮像するステップと、
治療を施すステップと、
を有する、方法。 - 前記血管内治療カテーテルを前記血管構造内の分岐を介してステアリングするステップを更に有し、該ステアリングするステップが、
前記第1ガイドワイヤを前記分岐まで進めるステップと、
前記カテーテルを前記第1ガイドワイヤ上で前記分岐まで進めるステップと、
前記分岐を撮像するステップと、
前記分岐の所望の枝路に入る整形ガイドワイヤを選択するステップと、
前記整形ガイドワイヤを、前記第2ガイドワイヤルーメンを介して前記分岐の前記所望の枝路内へと進めるステップと、
前記カテーテルを前記整形ガイドワイヤ上で前記分岐の前記所望の枝路内へと進めるステップと、
を有する、請求項18に記載の方法。 - 前記血管内治療が慢性完全閉塞の治療を有し、当該方法が、
前記カテーテルを前記第1ガイドワイヤに沿って前記慢性完全閉塞まで進めるステップであって、前記カテーテルが前記本体の前記遠端部に配置された圧力を感知する機能測定センサを更に有するステップと、
前記機能測定センサを用いて圧力の変化を感知することにより前記慢性完全閉塞における前記本体の前記遠端部の位置を検証するステップと、
前記第2ガイドワイヤルーメンを介して進められる第2ガイドワイヤにより前記慢性完全閉塞を横切る間に前記第1ガイドワイヤを支持のために使用するステップと、
前記慢性完全閉塞に治療を施すステップと、
を有する、請求項18に記載の方法。
