本発明は、サーバ装置と、複数のユーザの各々に設置された端末装置とが互いに通信回線を介して接続されて構成されているシステムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
インターネット網、移動体通信網、組織内のイントラネット網、無線LAN等の通信回線網の普及とともに、それらの通信回線網を利用して、離れた場所にいるユーザ間で情報を共有する分散システムが広く普及してきている。

従来、このような分散システムとして提案されているものに、特許文献1として、「分散オフィスシステム及びその管理方法」がある。これは、ユーザ端末装置に備わっているカメラで撮像された画像がサーバ装置に転送され、サーバ装置から他のユーザ端末装置に転送される。そして、各ユーザ端末装置の画面には、他のユーザの勤務状況の画像や勤務状況情報等からなる仮想的な個室オフィスが表示される。

しかしながら、上記従来技術のような分散システムでは、カメラを有するユーザの画像が表示されるのみでカメラを持たないユーザの画像及び端末のそばにいないユーザの画像を参照できないという課題があった。

本発明は上記の課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、端末装置を使用するユーザ間でユーザに関する情報を効率的に共有することができる技術を提供することを目的とする。

上記の目的を達成するための本発明によるサーバ装置は以下の構成を備える。即ち、
複数のユーザの各々に設置された端末装置と通信回線を介して接続されているサーバ装置であって、
前記通信回線を介して、前記ユーザの画像を撮像する撮像手段を有する端末装置から画像を受信する受信手段と、
前記撮像手段の撮像対象のユーザを管理するテーブルを記憶する記憶手段と、
前記テーブルを参照して、前記受信手段で受信した画像が複数のユーザに対する画像であるか否かを判定する判定手段と、
前記判定手段の判定結果に基づいて、前記受信手段で受信した画像をユーザ毎に区別して前記複数の端末装置それぞれに送信する送信手段と
を備える。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態について図面を用いて詳細に説明する。

本実施形態における分散オフィスシステムは、複数のユーザ端末装置が通信回線網を介してホストサーバ装置に接続されることにより、分散したオフィスシステムとしての各種機能を実現し、結果として分散オフィスシステムの運用を実現するものである。

特に、本実施形態の分散オフィスシステムとしては、ホストサーバ装置が設置されているメインオフィス以外に、別拠点として、ユーザの自宅で実現されているホームオフィス、移動体通信網を利用可能なモバイルオフィスが構成されている。
