t、r、a、i、nの各キャラクタには、単語番号Wn=Wi+1が付与される。

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of a mark device, a mark method, a data output device, and a mark learning method of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that components denoted by the same reference numerals in the embodiments perform the same operation, and thus the description thereof may not be repeated.
[0020]
(Embodiment 1)
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing one embodiment of a learning screen when the marking device and the marking method of the present invention are used for learning. The following is an example of learning English conversation on TV. The learner listens to the English conversation and learns the pronunciation and English expression while watching the teacher speaking on the screen of the TV while watching the teacher, etc., in a variety of places and situations. At the bottom of the TV screen, the spoken English sentences and words are displayed. In the case of a sentence, the text is scrolled from right to left, or the sounding location is displayed moving from left to right with a pointer, a mark, a color change, or the like. FIG. 1 illustrates a case where scrolling is performed. In the present embodiment, a bar-shaped mark pointer is displayed at a lower portion of the English sentence, at a substantially central position on the left and right. An English sentence, a set of characters in the sentence, each word, and a set of words are display objects that can be marked. Hereinafter, the mark target and the display object may indicate a displayed image, or may indicate data for generating an image. That is, the display object is data displayed on the display screen, and its data type (image, text, etc.) and content are not limited. In addition, the display mode such as the shape and color of the mark pointer does not matter.
[0021]
If the learner wants to practice pronunciation of "the train", when the "t" of the English character "the" that moves by scrolling reaches the position of the mark pointer, the learner turns on a mark described later. When "n" of "train" has passed the mark pointer, an operation of turning off the mark is performed. With this operation, "the train" can be marked. "Mark" means that the marked data can be distinguished from other data. Specifically, for example, the bit of the attribute “mark” of the marked data is set to “1”. "The train" is a mark target that the learner wants to mark. At the time of the next repetitive learning, the color of the scrolling word "the train" is changed, or the color is changed and blinked just during the pronunciation to make it easier to pay attention. Alternatively, the reproduction speed of the portion of "the train" in the voice, which is data associated with the word of "the train" to be marked, is reduced, or the volume is slightly increased to make it easier to hear. In order to devise the display of the "the train" and the audio output, the information of the "the train" is stored separately from the others.
[0022]
FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a process of the mark described above. FIG. 2 illustrates a mode in which English sentences pronounced in English conversation are scrolled and displayed on a screen. In order to explain the movement of the screen in FIG. 2, the screen is numbered. This number is referred to as a screen number, and FIG. 2 shows a flow of English text scrolling from screen number i to screen number i + 5. Only the lower part of the video screen is shown. In screen number i, since the "t" of "the" has just been reached, the learner gives an instruction to turn on the mark. This instruction is performed, for example, by the learner pressing a specific button on the remote controller. The screen number advances to (i + 1) and (i + 2). At (i + 4), since “n” of “train” has passed the mark pointer position, the learner turns off the mark. This instruction is also given, for example, by the learner pressing a specific button on the remote controller. The instruction to turn on the mark and the instruction to turn off the mark may be performed by pressing the same button or different buttons. In this way, "the train" is marked. Note that the mark is turned on or off according to a user's instruction, but the user's operation method does not matter.
[0023]
For example, the word “train” may be marked when the user presses a specific button on the remote control while “train” is passing over the mark on the display screen. That is, a single button or one word and a group of surrounding words may be marked by pressing a specific button of the remote controller once. Here, marking a display such as a word means generating and storing (including temporary storage) information for identifying the display specified by the user. There are various methods for such a marking operation in the other embodiments.
[0024]

The center device 300 may transmit the screen data, character data, and voice data one after another for one lesson program in accordance with the progress of the time code. Predetermined sections of the time code may be transmitted together.
[0042]
When the center device 300 transmits all the screen data, character data, and voice data for one lesson collectively, and the learning terminal device 350 stores all the data, the modification function of the distribution
[0043]
Further, the learning terminal device 350 may hold the marked information and data (for example, the content of the English conversation lesson) without transmitting it to the center device 300. In such a case, the learning terminal device 350 accumulates the marked information and data, and outputs the data according to a learner's instruction. In such a case, the information marked in the data is output separately from other information. The marked information is displayed in an emphasized manner, or the sound is output at a high volume. The aspect of such character and voice modification has been described above. This is the same in other embodiments.

The audio data may be sent in a form of being separated into audio data of English conversation and audio signal data of other background, and necessary modification may be made to the audio data of English conversation. Because, in the case of audio signals, if the background sound and English conversation sound are mixed, the modification tends to be applied to only the English conversation sound, and the background sound is also likely to be modified. Is not easy.
[0046]
(Embodiment 3)
In the second embodiment, marking is performed in units of English characters. Next, a method of marking in units of English words will be described below.
[0047]
In the configuration of FIG. 4, a word number is assigned to character data instead of a character number. In the case of "the train", a word number Wn = Wi is assigned to each of the characters t, h, and e. Word numbers Wn = Wi + 1 are assigned to the characters t, r, a, i, and n. The word number added to the character of the time code (T-dT) is output from the

[0049]
In this way, a mark can be surely made in units of a desired word without affecting some characters of the preceding and following words, and without starting or ending the desired character of the desired word from the mark. .
[0050]
If a time code, a word number, and modification data are added for each character, the data amount becomes larger than the data amount of the character data, which is inefficient. By providing a word segment identification code at each segment of a word in the character data string and inserting and arranging a time code, a word number, and modification data, the data amount can be reduced.
[0051]
(Modification of Embodiment and Supplement)
In the above embodiment, the display screen, display characters, display words are specified, and the positional relationship and the time relationship are specified by using data such as a screen number, a frame number, a character number, a word number, a time code, and a scroll speed. Was described.
[0052]
The screen number, the frame number, and the time code are data related to the display time of the character or word to be marked, and a mark can be formed by specifying the mark target using these data.
[0053]
The character number and the word number are data related to the identification data of the mark target, and a mark can be formed by specifying the mark target using the data.
[0054]
Marking can be performed by specifying the mark target based on data relating to the display position of the character or word to be marked. The display position of the mark target can also be indirectly represented by a screen number, a frame number, a time code, a scroll speed, and the like.
[0055]
Expressions and variables other than such expressions may be used.
[0056]
In the above description, in the repetitive learning, the first learning is repeated from the beginning. However, only the marked word may be repeated, a phrase including the marked word, or a sentence may be repeated. . In addition, reproduction may be repeatedly performed only for a predetermined time (for example, several minutes) before and after including the marked word. These repetition modes may be selected by the learner and requested from the center devices 200 and 300, or the learning program itself may be selected according to the curriculum in the learning program. . Alternatively, only the sound may be repeated and the screen may be stationary. That is, the data output device of the present invention has the following configuration. A display device having a display screen, a mark device, and a decoration device, and a mark pointer for marking a mark target on the display screen is displayed on the display screen, and the mark pointer and the predetermined Marking is performed on the display body having a positional relationship as a mark target, and after performing the mark, at least one of other data having a relationship with the mark target or the mark target is modified by the modification means. And a data output device. In such a case, the other data related to the mark target is data for a certain period of time before and after including the marked word.
[0057]
The other data related to the mark target is another data having some relation (temporal relation, semantic relation, etc.) with the word, character, text, or the like to be marked. It is data for several minutes before and after the body. The other data related to the mark target is auxiliary data that has some meaning in relation to the display target of the mark target.
[0058]
It should be noted that the output of the data including the marked display is usually performed according to the instruction of the learner, but may be automatically performed. The output may be performed only once or repeatedly.
[0059]
In each of the above embodiments, an example in which the display body of a sentence or a character is scrolled in the horizontal direction has been described. However, the scroll direction may be vertical, horizontal, diagonal, or rotated. Alternatively, a stationary display may be marked by selecting a display having a predetermined positional relationship from a mark pointer.
[0060]
The shape and display position of the mark pointer are not limited to the above description, and may be any shape and display position suitable for the learning curriculum. The display position may be an upper part of the character string, a position overlapping the character string, or the like.
[0061]
The mark pointer may be fixedly displayed at a predetermined position and may be moved in a fixed manner. Further, it may be moved or moved by a mouse or a keyboard. The
[0062]
The mark method and the mark learning method for realizing the functions of the mark device and the data output device according to the present invention include a procedure for performing each operation described in the description of each of the above-described embodiments, and a section for solving the problem. This can be realized by performing the steps as described in (1).
[0063]
Needless to say, the processing procedure of the mark and the processing procedure of the learning method for performing modification using the mark log according to the present invention can be a program executed by a computer. Further, the program can be stored in a recording medium. The recording medium refers to a recording medium such as a ROM, a RAM, a flexible disk, a CD-ROM, a DVD, a memory card, a hard disk, or the like on which a program is recorded. In addition, the concept includes a communication medium such as a telephone line and a transport path.
[0064]
It goes without saying that the target to be marked by the above-described marking device or data output device is not limited to content for learning. The target to be marked may be a news program or movie to which subtitles have been added. Also, the mark target may be any other content to which subtitles are added.
[0065]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention,
[0066]
(1) Marking characters and words on the display screen and modifying the characters and voices at the marked locations during repeated learning make it easier for the learner to pay attention to the marked locations, thereby improving the learning effect. Can be improved.
[0067]
(2) Since the mark can be made by a simple operation while looking at the display screen, the burden on the learner is small.
