Abstract

524,688. Bottles &c. MUSHAM, H. H., and PRESTON, H. Feb. 3, 1939, No. 3579. [Class 125 (i)] A pouring device for milk and like containers comprises an inverted dish shaped member 4, Fig. 1, adapted to engage an internally flanged bottle neck 3. The top of the pourer is flat and has a tapering slot as at 5, Fig. 2, or may have two annular orifices, one for air and one for milk. The pourer may have a cover 7 provided with inside projections 7a which space it from the pourer and allow ingress of air. The device may be made of rubber or other suitable material and serves to prevent contamination of the contents of the bottle.
