Abstract

The machine comprises a rear vertical column in which is fitted the pump. Over the column, its front overhanging, is the head containing the cold water reservoir at a higher level than, and connected to, the pump to eliminate priming. From the pump, the water enters a cast heating plate having labyrinthine passages and a thermostatically controlled element on top. Hot water leaves this heating plate through a central orifice and passes through ground coffee in a lower filter container to fill a container placed on a base stand. A drip tray is provided and push buttons control the operations.
