Abstract

Circuit for eliminating the interference signals caused by variations in brightness of a scanning spot. The spot is derived from a cathode ray tube (1) of a television black and white or colour transmission camera. The film (3) is scanned by the spot which generates video signals (22). The circuit contains an element (4) that is sensitive to the instantaneous intensity of the spot and produces a signal, which is a function of intensity. this is fed to a control circuit (6) which is used to regulate the intensity of the cathode ray tube or the amplification factor of the video amplifier.
