Abstract

The school desk has a sill plate. The sill plate has a write mode and in a pre-determined distance a file is stored under. Description

The invention relates to a desk, in particular for use as a workstation.

Such desks are known. For example, tables are known in which the screen is partially retractable in the desk. The screen itself is usually placed at an angle. Similarly, desks are known which have attached to the back of the desk an additional bar on which the screen is. For ergonomic reasons, the strip is usually fastened higher than the actual worktop and only extends over a small part of the area of the entire desk. The disadvantage of these designs is, above all, that the screen is not protected and the desks are not versatile.

Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a desk that avoids the disadvantages mentioned.

The object is achieved by a desk according to claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are defined in the subclaims.

With the invention, a desk, in particular for use as a VDU workstation, provided with a worktop, wherein the worktop has a writing pad and a shelf at a predetermined distance below, wherein at least a portion of the writing pad hinged and preferably in the closed position is lockable, wherein the underside of the writing pad has a device for attaching working equipment and wherein the tray is used with the writing surface folded down as a lower working surface. When the writing desk is closed, the desk can be used as a normal desk and when the desk is open, it can be used as a computer workstation. The lower shelf ensures when using the desk as a workstation ergonomically favorable attitude of the person standing at the desk or sitting, since the keyboard of the computer is then on the lower shelf.

The aforementioned work equipment is preferably a screen whose connections are guided in the writing pad. The screen is safely stowed in the desk when you close the writing pad without being hindered or exposed to damage. In the closed state of the writing pad is thus the entire work surface of the writing pad available, the higher compared to the tray position for reading and writing is ergonomically advantageous.

Advantageously, the worktop means, preferably gas springs or hydraulic arms, for opening the writing pad and for stabilizing the unfolded writing pad, wherein the writing pad at an angle of at least 90 degrees, preferably at an angle of at least 125 degrees, hinged. In a preferred embodiment, the desk has connections for power, computer peripherals and computer network, the cables are housed in the desk, preferably concealed for the user. The cables are led out of the desk via further connections, for example for electricity, computer peripherals and computer networks. Computer peripherals can be connected directly to the desk without having to pay attention to the cable routing, whereby the computer itself is connected to the terminals led out at the desk. Fig. 1 shows a desk 1 according to the invention with a worktop 20, consisting of a writing pad 21 and a predetermined distance below the shelf 22, and a pedestal 30. The tray 22 of the worktop 20 rests on the pedestal 30 and is fixed associated with this.

The cables of these connections are housed in the desk 1 and led out through further connections for power, computer peripherals and computer network back out of the desk 1, preferably at the back of the desk 1. In a further embodiment not shown here, the pedestal 30 has a device for receiving further working means, preferably a computer.
