Dies soll sicherstellen, daß im Falle einer Panik in einem mit einer solchen Paniktür versehenen Gebäude fliehende Personen durch einfaches Drücken gegen die Druckstange die Paniktür öffnen können. Die Tür öffnet dann auch, wenn Personen von nachströmenden Personen gegen die Druckstange gedrückt bzw. gestoßen werden. Claims (9)

  1. Device for securing or controlling operating bars (2) on emergency exit doors (1) or the like with a casing (3) fixed to the door (1) above or below the operating bar (2) and in which are located a sensor and a signal generator, and having a control lever (6) detachably located on the casing (3) and which so projects into the region of the operating bar (2) that on operating the operating bar (2) it is engaged by the latter and/or by a release member (9) fixed thereto and is released from the casing (3), the sensor being placed in the casing (3) in such a way that it detects a detachment of the control lever (6) from the casing (3) and where the signal generator is set up for outputting a signal when the sensor detects a detachment of the control lever (6).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the sensor has a reed contact and the control lever (6) a magnetic area engaging on the casing facing the sensor in the operating position.
  3. Device according to one of the claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the signal generator is an acoustic signal generator.
  4. Device according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that on the casing (3) is provided a key-operated switch (5) connected to the signal generator for switching off an alarm which has been triggered.
  5. Device according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the casing (3) has a bearing surface (4) on which is located one end (6c) of the control lever (6) with a cap (8) mounted on the end (6c) is fixed to the casing (3) with rupture pins projecting through the end of the control lever (6) and extending into the bearing surface (4).
  6. Device according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that by means of a suspension line (7) fixed to the control lever (6) and casing (3), the control lever (6) is connected to the same.
  7. Device according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the control lever (6) is constructed in two-parts from two substantially L-shaped lever parts (6a, 6b), each of the lever parts (6a, 6b) having on one of the legs a plurality of detent elements (6e) for connecting the two lever parts (6a, 6b) with adjustable overlap depth of the legs.
  8. Device according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the casing (3) contains a battery for the power supply of the sensor and the signal generator and that the signal generator is set up for outputting a signal in the case of a battery capacity dropping below a minimum value.
  9. Device according to one of the claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it has as the release member located on the operating bar (2) a release plate (9) between which and the leaf of the emergency exit door (1) is provided a free end (6d) of the control lever (6).
