Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a coil arrangement with a winding body on which the coil winding is attached and a method for contacting it on a carrier body.
Coils are used in a large number of measuring mechanisms to generate a magnetic field. For this purpose, it is necessary for the coil winding to be supplied with continuous current signals or current pulses. For this purpose, the winding ends of the coil are connected to current-carrying electrical leads. In most cases, one end of the winding is soldered or glued to the electrical lead.
In today's measuring mechanisms, the coil winding is wound on a winding body. The wire ends are soldered to separate contact pins. This contact pin is in turn soldered to the electrical leads. This means that several operations are required for each coil arrangement.
The invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a coil arrangement which is simple to produce and allows simple and reliable electrical contacting.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that two contact feet are arranged on the winding body and one end of the coil winding is attached to each contact foot.
The advantage of the invention is that the elimination of additional contact elements enables an inexpensive manufacturing process. The winding of the coil body is possible in a single operation without additional effort, in which the first contact foot is wrapped first, then the winding body and finally the second contact foot.
By eliminating the contact pins, costs are reduced and reliability is increased.
In one development, at least one contact foot is fork-shaped. The fork-shaped contact foot has a recess facing away from the coil former.
In particular, the recess enables contact paste to accumulate during the contacting process, which leads to reliable and durable contacting due to the wide contact area.
The contact foot advantageously has a cutout or elevation for receiving the winding end. This recess is arranged between the winding body and the recess. A guide for the winding of the respective winding end is provided below the fork-shaped contact foot.
In one embodiment, each winding end is wrapped around a contact foot with at least one turn. A multilayer wrap around each contact foot leads to a reliable fastening of the respective winding end to the contact foot.
Such a cleverly designed winding body with two molded contact feet supports the coil winding and ensures that the wire ends are securely fixed to the contact feet. The wire ends themselves are connected directly to the electrical leads.
For contacting on a flat circuit board, it is useful that the contact foot is arranged parallel or perpendicular to the coil winding at one end of the winding body.
The distances between the two contact feet from each other are usefully chosen so that they correspond to the distance of the interconnects of the circuit board.
The coil arrangement according to the invention enables simple contacting on a carrier body provided with electrical supply lines, in which the windings of a winding end of the coil winding fastened to the contact base are arranged close enough to the supply line and by means of a suitable connection method, e.g. B. with the aid of an electrically conductive contact paste with electrical leads.
A mechanical contact between the winding end of the coil winding and the feed line is desirable but not absolutely necessary.
A small gap between the winding and the supply line can be easily overcome by soldering with capillary action or welding with contact pressure.
The contacting can be done using methods such. B. thermocompression welding, soldering with a solder paste, melting using infrared radiation, laser or thermode or conductive adhesive.
If the carrier body is a printed circuit board, an automatic reflow soldering or melting process for contacting is recommended. The circuit board is preferably a flexible conductor foil or a composite conductor system.
The invention enables numerous embodiments. One of these will be explained in more detail with reference to the figure shown in the drawing.
