Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a system for metering and mixing different liquid substances with a large number of storage containers for the different substances, an outlet metering valve controlled by a control computer being arranged on each storage container and each outlet metering valve being able to be assigned a mixing bowl arranged on a weighing device connected to the control computer.
Such a system is known from US-A-4,585,148. This known system is used for mixing colors, with the individual colors being held in a storage container with a metering valve. To create a color mixture, a mixing container is fed to a weighing station and then the individual storage containers are moved under computer control into the area of the weighing station in such a way that the respective metering valve is located above the mixing container on the weighing device. The color mixture specified on the computer is then created and the mixing container with the color mixture can be removed.
With such a mixing system it is possible to achieve largely error-free and precise dosing and thus mixtures, but due to the design of the known system the mixing capacity is limited, since it is not possible to provide an arbitrary number of storage containers or otherwise a considerable design effort is required because all storage containers must be transportable to the weighing place. This limited mixing capacity is a major disadvantage, particularly in perfume testing. In addition, it is disadvantageous that the mixing and dosing time becomes relatively long, particularly in the case of a large number of storage containers, since the storage container in question must be moved into the area of the weighing station. A further disadvantage of the known system is that it cannot be operated fully automatically without the supervision of operating personnel. In the known system, it is namely necessary to first program the control computer with the corresponding mixing compositions, after which it must then be ensured that the corresponding mixing containers are kept ready. Monitoring by operating personnel is therefore necessary.
In contrast, the object of the invention is to provide a solution with which an error-free, accurate metering and mixing of different liquids for perfume production without monitoring by an operator should be made possible fully automatically and as quickly as possible.
This object is achieved according to the invention with a system of the type mentioned at the outset in that, for the mixing of liquid fragrances for the production of perfumes, the weighing device with the mixing cup can be moved on a mixing cup line below the outlet metering valves, and in front of the mixing cup line a mixing cup storage unit connected to the mixing cup line with conveyor belt is arranged, each mixing cup being provided with a code which can be read by a scanner connected to the control computer and arranged at the end of the mixing cup memory.
The system designed according to the invention can be operated fully automatically without monitoring by operating personnel after one-time setup, in particular after the mixing cup storage has been equipped with a large number of coded mixing cups, at the same time only very short mixing times being required, since the respective mixing cup itself with the weighing device on the measuring section the individual storage containers is moved. At the same time, a very high mixing capacity is made possible because of the stationary arrangement of the storage containers with a corresponding geometric arrangement of the same, a plurality of storage containers can be provided. In addition, the system according to the invention is extremely flexible, since even during operation, by inserting an appropriately coded mixing cup into the mixing cup memory, an instantly required mixture can be created immediately without interfering with the rest of the process.
In an embodiment, the invention provides that the supply container is pressurized by an inert gas with a controllable pressure. Through this inert gas cushion, e.g. nitrogen, in the supply containers constant pre-pressure conditions are guaranteed at the metering valves, so that a reliable control of the respective delivery quantities is possible.
A handling device for transferring the mixing cups from the storage device to the section is advantageously arranged between the mixing cup section and the mixing cup storage device. This design is provided when the conveyor belt of the mixing cup storage device is not directly coupled to the mixing cup section.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the mixing cup section is designed as a rotary table with a weighing device which can be moved in a circular manner is. The metering valves are preferably arranged on a circular path with the radius of the weighing device. This arrangement of the individual elements of the system is particularly space-saving and therefore inexpensive.
In order to achieve an even more space-saving arrangement, it can also be provided that several metering valves are arranged together in groups.
Finally, the invention also provides that at the end of the mixing cup section a further mixing cup storage device with a conveyor belt is arranged. Such training is advantageous if mixtures are to be made in stock and are not used immediately, ie a whole series of mixtures can then be created overnight.

A fully automatic system for perfume metering and mixing has a large number of
Each
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the individual
In front of the
The
Dabei fährt der Drehtisch nacheinander die erforderlichen Auslaßdosierventile 7 der jeweiligen Vorlagebehälter 1 an.The dosing and mixing system works as follows:
First, for example, a number of
After a complete run through the turntable through 360 °, the mixing container in question is filled with the desired perfume formulation and is removed from the
Of course, the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. Further refinements of the invention are possible without leaving the basic idea. In particular, the design of the mixing bowl section and the corresponding arrangement of the outlet metering valves can be chosen differently. In addition to the central control computer, further operating computers can also be provided, by means of which it is possible to intervene in the system sequence in a quasi-manual manner.
