Der Dübel wird dann durch das Loch / der Schelle hindurchgesteckt und in die Wand eingeschlagen, wodurch die Schelle sicher befestigt ist. Gegebenenfalls kann der Dübel auch zunächst teilweise in die Wand eingeschlagen, dann die Schelle auf den Dübelschaft aufgesteckt und schließlich der Querriegel auf dem Dübel befestigt werden, worauf der letztere vollständig in die Wand eingetrieben wird.
