Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a method applied to a terminal to delete a session message according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method includes step S11, step S12, and step S13. In step S11, the terminal acquires instruction information of a first user, where the instruction information is used to request to delete a group chat record between the first user and a second user; in step S12, the terminal determines, according to the instruction information, a target conversation group in which the first user and the second user participate together and at least one conversation message to be deleted in the target conversation group; in step S13, the terminal deletes the at least one session message and updates the target session group.
In step S11, the terminal obtains instruction information of the first user, where the instruction information is used to request to delete the group chat records of the first user and the second user. In some embodiments, the instruction information may be automatically triggered to be generated when the first user selects to delete a social friend relationship with the second user, may be automatically triggered to be generated when the first user selects to delete a chat log of an individual session with the second user, and may be generated when the first user actively deletes a group chat log with the second user. For example, a second button for deleting a friend and deleting a group chat record with the friend is added next to the first button for deleting the friend, and when the first user clicks the second button, instruction information for requesting deletion of the group chat record between the first user and the second user is generated. According to the method and the device, when the first user deletes the social friend relationship with the second user or deletes the chat records of the second user, the group chat records in the conversation group participating with the second user together are automatically deleted, so that the operation of the user can be reduced, and the social experience of the user is enhanced.
In step S12, the terminal determines, according to the instruction information, a target conversation group in which the first user and the second user participate together and at least one conversation message to be deleted in the target conversation group. In some embodiments, the step of determining the target session group from the session groups in which the first user and the second user participate together may be directly determining the target session group locally at the terminal, or may obtain the determined target session group from the server, where the target session group may be all session groups in which the first user and the second user participate together, or may be all session groups in which the first user and the second user participate togetherParameter(s)Then at least one session message to be deleted is determined in the target session group, where the at least one session message may be all session messages in the target session group or a part of session messages in the target session group. According to the method and the device, the target session group suitable for deletion and at least one session message in the target session group are determined, so that the accuracy and the effectiveness of the deletion operation can be improved.
In step S13, the terminal deletes the at least one session message and updates the target session group. In some embodiments, the at least one session message is deleted from the memory, the database, or the file, and the target session group is updated, so that the first user cannot view the at least one session message when viewing the chat record of the target session group, and does not need to manually delete the at least one session message any more, thereby reducing user operations and enhancing social experience of the user.
In some embodiments, the obtaining instruction information of the first user includes: and generating the instruction information in response to the deletion trigger operation of the first user on the second user. In some embodiments, the deletion triggering operation includes, but is not limited to, deleting the second user from the friend of the first user, deleting the chat records of the individual session between the first user and the second user, and in response to the deletion triggering operation of the second user by the first user, automatically generating instruction information for requesting deletion of the group chat records between the first user and the second user.
According to the method and the device, when the first user deletes the social friend relationship with the second user or deletes the chat records of the second user, the group chat records in the conversation group participating with the second user together are automatically deleted, so that the operation of the user can be reduced, and the social experience of the user is enhanced.
In some embodiments, the step S12 includes: the terminal determines a target session group in which the first user and the second user participate together and at least one session message to be deleted in the target session group in a local storage according to the instruction information; or, sending the instruction information to the network equipment; and receiving session deletion information returned by the network equipment, wherein the session deletion information is used for indicating a target session group in which the first user and the second user participate together and at least one session message to be deleted in the target session group, which are determined according to the instruction information. In some embodiments, the step of determining the target session group and the session message to be deleted in the target session group may be performed in a local storage of the terminal, or may be performed in the server, where the terminal sends instruction information for deleting a group chat record with the second user to the server, the server determines the target session group and the session message to be deleted in the target session group after receiving the instruction information, and returns session deletion information (for example, the session deletion information may include an id of the target session group and an id of the session message to be deleted) indicating the target session group and the session message to be deleted in the target session group to the terminal, and the terminal deletes the corresponding session message in the target session group according to the session deletion information.
In some embodiments, the determining a target conversation group in which the first user and the second user participate together comprises: and taking all session groups in which the first user and the second user participate together as the target session group. In some embodiments, all conversation groups in which the first user and the second user participate together may be considered a target conversation group. The implementation method for determining the target session group is applicable to both the terminal and the server.
In some embodiments, the determining a target conversation group in which the first user and the second user participate together comprises: determining the target session group in which the first user and the second user participate together according to a preset condition; wherein the predetermined condition comprises at least one of: the chat records corresponding to the conversation groups comprise conversation messages with direct interaction relation between the first user and the second user; the number of group members of the conversation group is less than or equal to a predetermined number threshold; the group name of the session group comprises the name of the second user or a group nickname; the group owner or administrator of the session group comprises the second user; the speaking frequency of the second user in the conversation group is greater than or equal to a preset frequency threshold; the number of utterances of the second user in the conversation group is greater than or equal to a predetermined number threshold. In some embodiments, the condition for determining the target session group may be at least one of:

2) If the number of group members (for example, 3 persons) of a session group in which a first user and a second user participate together is less than or equal to a predetermined number threshold (for example, 5 persons), the session group is regarded as a target session group.
3) If the group name (for example, "Xiaoming private group" or "flying Dutch pig private pigsty") of a session group in which a first user and a second user participate together includes the name (for example, "Xiaoming") or a nickname (for example, "flying Dutch pig") of the second user, the session group is regarded as a target session group.
4) And if the group owner of the session group in which a certain first user and a certain second user participate together is the second user or the administrator of the certain session group comprises the second user, taking the session group as a target session group.
5) And if the speaking frequency of a second user in a conversation group in which a first user and a second user participate together (for example, 20 conversation messages are sent per day on average) is greater than or equal to a predetermined frequency threshold (for example, 10 conversation messages are sent per day on average), taking the conversation group as a target conversation group.
6) If the speaking quantity (for example, 100 conversation messages are sent) of the second user in a conversation group in which a certain first user and a certain second user participate together is larger than or equal to a preset quantity threshold (for example, 50 conversation messages are sent), the conversation group is taken as a target conversation group.
The implementation method for determining the target session group is applicable to both the terminal and the server.
