Abstract

La presente se refiere a un procedimiento para el acondicionamiento de escorias de acería para producir un ligante mineral hidráulico con elevado potencial de endurecimiento y para la recuperación de hierro. Para ello se ha previsto proporcionar un producto de carga que presenta escoria de acería con MnO. Este producto de carga se continua procesando como masa fundida mediante la incorporación de agentes reductores en la masa fundida. Con esto, en la parte mineral de la masa fundida se debe alcanzar un estándar de cal de entre 90 y 110. A continuación se enfría de manera definida la masa fundida y se separa mecánicamente hierro elemental de la masa fundida solidificada. Después, la masa fundida solidificada se destina para ser usada como ligante mineral hidráulico.
