Abstract

Process for installing, under tension, a cloth (1) around a surface (2): the cloth (1) is pretensioned around the surface and strips (14) are if necessary added to the ends (3) of the cloth (1), and the cloth (1) is joined up and the tension released. The tensioning device (5) has two straps (6) attachable to the ends (3) of the cloth and these are brought together by means of threaded rods (9) on which bolts (12) are screwed. <IMAGE>
