Abstract

1. Bearing segment for a hydrodynamic sliding bearing with a transverse groove (13) which is provided on the inlet side of the rotating element in the bearing surface and serves to distribute lubricating oil over the axial width of the bearing and supplies a hydrodynamic lubricating wedge, characterised in that two longitudinal grooves (17, 18) which define the bearing surface (12) in the axial direction are each connected via a throttle (15, 16) to the two ends of the transverse groove (13).
