The Weissella paramesenteroides is negative in amino acid decarboxylase and negative in nitrate reductase, is sensitive to chloramphenicol, has moderate resistance to penicillin-streptomycin, has resistance to 2 antibiotics of tetracycline and cefoxitin, and has no risk of drug resistance transfer. In addition, it has an excellent antibacterial activity, can be used as a preservative, and has a significantly better use effect than a conventional preservative.
