Abstract

The present invention relates to a secure container (1) for transporting and/or storing valuable documents or objects, comprising means for degrading said valuable items by spraying them with a contaminating fluid, internal electronic control means for controlling the degrading means, electrical energy supply means, a secure chamber (2) forming a frame consisting of a box (3) closed by a lid (4) and containing, for storing the valuable items, a compartment (5) for storing valuable items that consists of a tank (6) whose opening is controlled by said lid (4); this container being noteworthy in that the dimensions of the storage compartment (5) are smaller than those of the box (3) so as to provide between the internal walls of the box (3) and the external walls of the tank (6) a service space (11) housing means for degrading the valuable items, electrical power supply means, and internal control means.
