Abstract

Biomagnetic stimulator intended for persons having difficulties with sinusitis is an invention that belongs to the field of medical science -physiotherapeutical devices for location or stimulation of reflex points on the body i.e. acupunctural points - device for carrying out pressure on the mentioned points. It represents application of knowledge in the field of acupuncture and magnetic therapy to a particular article made of a natural pure cotton material that by its size covers surface of the forehead and the jaw sinuses, by the shape thereof, it reminds of glasses. Magnetic stimulation of acupunctural points is achieved with 7 permanent magnets having force of 200 gausses (80mT) insown where 11, 12, 13, 14 spots are. Magnets are set so that by its north pole, i.e. rounded side of magnet, lean directly to a certain facial point, i.e. acupunctural point. By using magnetic field of one magnet, some particular acupunctural points are stimulated in this case acupunctural points GB 14, YINTANG, PITUNG, Li 20. In this way, the combined effect of acupressure and magnetic field is provided, there is no need to engage a doctor, some wider application is possible, and it can be used either separately or along with medicament therapy.
