Abstract

Corset with acupunctural magnets as a magnetic helping-aid for persons with body weight problems, represents an invention that belongs to the field of medical physiotherapeutical devices for location or stimulation of reflexion points on the body i.e. acupunctural points the device for exertion of pressure on the mentioned points. It represents application of knowledge in the field of acupuncture and magnetic therapy on a particular article of clothing - corset. Magnetic helping-aid corset is made of natural cotton. Magnetic stimulation of acupunctural points is achieved with 15 permanent magnets having strength of 800 Gauss (80mT) sewn through the inserted piece of a corset. Magnets are sewn through on the spots 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Magnets are set so that by its north pole, i.e. rounded edge of the magnet, directly lean on a certain part of body, i.e. acupunctural point. By application of magnetic field of one device, particular acupunctural points are stimulated in this case points: REN 17, REN 12, REN 9, S 25, GB 26, GB 28, REN 3, Tu 4, GB 30, Ub 54. Hereby, combination of effects of acupressure and magnetic field is provided, there is no need for a doctor to monitor the process, wider application is provided, it can be used independently or with hygienic dietetic regime, even upon a period of application of stimulation of acupunctural points with permanent magnets no negative effects have been recorded.
