Abstract

Biološka dejstva G-CSF izazivaju uvećanu pažnju istraživača zbog svoje sposobnosti izazivanja diferencijacije leukemijskih ćelija koStane srži i pojačavanja funkcija zrelih granulocita, i potencijalno pruža mogućnost uspešne kliničke primene u oblastima tretiranja i prevencije leukemije. Prijava je izdvojena iz jugoslovenske patentne prijave P-1610/86.FACTORS WHICH STIMULATES THE HUMAN COLONY OF GRANULOCYTES - according to the invention, belongs to the field of molecular biology, and refers to a human chromosomal coding gene for a polypeptide having the activity of a colony stimulating factor (referred to as CSF), which is a specific stimulating factor required in principle for the construction of colony cells. The invention also relates to a recombinant vector present in said gene, a transformant comprising said vector, and a method for producing a glycoprotein having CSF activity. The elucidation of individual CSF subclasses and the study of their chemical and biological properties is very important for the study of hematopoietic mechanisms and for the analysis of the pathomorphological aspects of various hematological diseases. The biological effects of G-CSF have attracted increased research attention due to their ability to induce bone marrow differentiation of leukemia cells and enhance the function of mature granulocytes, and potentially offer the potential for successful clinical applications in leukemia treatment and prevention. The application was isolated from the patent application P-1610/86 of Yugoslavia.
