POSTUPAK I UREDJAJ ZA IZLIVANJE METALA. Protok rastopljenog čelika iz medjulonca do kalupa za kontinualno livenje reguliše se zasunom 10. Zasun obuhvata nepokretan vatrostalan element 14 koji ima otvor 18 za izlivanje metala, kao i klizni vatrostalni element 37 koji takodje ima jedan otvor 42 za izlivanje metala, a koji se može pomerati izmedju otvorenog položaja u kome je njegov otvor 42 poravnan sa otvorom 18 nepokretnog elementa, i zatvorenog položaja u kome ta dva otvora nisu medjusobno poravnana. Stvrdnjavanje rastopljenog čelika na zasunu kada je ovaj zatvoren sprečeno je prenošenjem rastućeg stupnjevitog kretanja na klizni element 37 u njegovom zatvorenom položaju.METAL CASTING PROCEDURE AND DEVICE.
