Abstract

Opisani su postupak i sistem za definisanje korisničkog pristupa jednoj ili više funkcija jedne aplikacije. Jedan ili više "atributa" se dodeljuje korisnicima računarskog sistema i čuvaju se u jednoj tabeli podataka. Svaki atribut dobija ime koje označava funkciju za koju se definiše pristup (tj. sposobnost da se pristupi podacima u jednoj bazi podataka), kao i vrednost koja definiše granice pristupa, Atributi mogu biti dodeljeni grupama, tako da se umanji opterećenje kod pripremanja pojedinačnih dodela atributa za svakog korisnika. One or more "attributes" are assigned to users of a computer system (5) and stored in a data table (11, 13, 15). Each attribute has a name which designates the feature to which access is being defined (e.g., the ability to access data within the database), and a value defining the limits of access. Attributes may be assigned in groups to eliminate the burden of preparing attribute assignments one by one for each user. When an application is run, the attributes are retrieved and enforced such that the user's access to the features of the application is defined in accordance with the retrieved attributes.
