Bromadiolon se dobija kondenzacijom benziliden p-(4'-bromofenil) propan-1-ona i 4-hidroksi kumarina u toluenu a potom redukcijom natrijum borhidridom u alkoholu. Bromadiolon analitičke čistoće dobija se u visokom prinosu.The invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of bromadiolone, 3- (3- (4'-bromobiphenyl-4-yl) -3-hydroxy-1-phenylpropyl) -4-hydroxycoumarin, and falls within the field of organic synthesis. Bromadiolone is obtained by condensing benzylidene p- (4'-bromophenyl) propan-1-one and 4-hydroxy coumarin in toluene followed by reduction with sodium borohydride in alcohol. Analytical purity bromadiolone is obtained in high yield.
